Experienced Aviation Occupational Psychologists
At AeroPsyence, we bring aviation experience and professional psychology together to help organisations make informed, responsible decisions about the people operating in safety-critical environments.
As our work continues to grow, we are looking to expand our network of experienced Occupational Psychologists with a strong aviation background to work with the Aeropsyence team on a freelance basis.
Initially, assignments will be offered on an ad hoc, freelance day basis and will principally involve the professional interpretation and review of psychometric assessment reports. Where appropriate, you may also be required to contact respondents directly to explore or clarify assessment findings and provide informed professional insight.
Who we are looking for
We would be pleased to hear from Occupational Psychologists who:
- Hold a recognised Master’s-level or equivalent professional qualification in Psychology, appropriate for independent professional practice.
- Meet the relevant European and national professional standards for practising psychologists, with appropriate professional registration or recognition where required.
- Have a minimum of three years’ demonstrable professional experience within aviation, ideally involving flight crew, aviation selection, assessment or other safety-critical aviation populations.
- Have substantial experience in occupational psychological assessment and psychometrics, including the interpretation and communication of assessment findings.
- Are comfortable conducting professional follow-up discussions or interviews with assessment respondents when further exploration is required.
- Can exercise sound professional judgement while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality, ethics, objectivity and data protection.
- Are able to work independently on a flexible freelance basis while contributing as part of the wider Aeropsyence professional team.
Experience specifically involving pilot or flight crew psychological assessment and selection would be particularly welcome.
